THE FUTURE OF LITTLE FALLS

Little Falls has long been ahead of the curve with renewable energy with an 80 MW wind farm and a large hydroelectric facility feeding the residential and commercial energy needs of the community. We plan to broaden our “green” focus by developing a wide range of sustainable practices.

As we continue to develop homes, we will continue to utilize all feasible energy creating and savings techniques and equipment. We are closely watching and evaluating roof-top solar, new generations of geothermal devices, heat pumps, tighter insulating materials, and new and improved building practices.

We will study composting, community gardening, rainwater control, and ride and bike-sharing as well as a long list of leading-edge practices.

Overlook Ridge will be a role model in the community, region and country.
